My introduction to nutrition was through a nutrition class in college. During my ten years as a professional modern dancer I observed through others and firsthand the consequences of poor nutrition on both the mind and body. As I became older, I struggled with a sluggish thyroid, infertility, arthritis and several gastrointestinal issues. Upon doing my own research, I became interested in the holistic approach to health. I found the Dr. Sear’s Wellness Institute and learned how making positive changes to the four pillars of health (lifestyle, exercise, attitude, nutrition) made a huge difference to my own health. This has fueled my passion to help others take charge of their health.

Over the past ten years I’ve learned how to cook differently, and to tailor my diet to combat my negative health symptoms. I’ve enjoyed trying new healthier recipes and have created many of my own. I am experienced with the Paleo and the Autoimmune Protocol diets which are beneficial to manage many of the current diseases.

I enjoy physical activity. I’m consistently in Pilates classes, weight training and I especially enjoy walking outdoors. These activities help me manage stress and maintain energy to better guide others to create their own nutrition and exercise programs.

I am a Master Certified Health Coach through the Dr. Sear’s Wellness Institute. I also hold other certifications through the Sear’s institute in the areas of healthy lifestyle during pregnancy, for children (ages 3-7 years) and seniors. My education also includes a BFA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a MA from UCLA.

I am committed to empowering adults to make healthy lifestyle choices in order to age gracefully and live their lives to the fullest. I specialize in nutrition and exercise. With these tools, I help clients develop and implement customized programs to improve their aging health, achieve weight goals, alleviate pain and manage stress.
